Five minutes, one bowl, no excuses. The kind of breakfast that earns its keep without trying.

- 1Set a small dry skillet over medium heat. Add the oats and walnuts together. Toast, shaking the pan often, until the oats smell nutty and the walnuts have darkened a shade, about 3 to 4 minutes. Slide them onto a plate to cool — they'll keep toasting in a hot pan.
- 2Spoon the yogurt into a wide shallow bowl. Drag a spoon through the middle to leave a little well.
- 3Roughly chop the walnuts. Pile them with the oats over the yogurt, leaning toward one side.
- 4Drizzle the Amber over the top in slow lazy lines — let it pool in the well you made.
- 5Finish with a tiny pinch of flaky salt and your optional add-on. Eat right away, before the granola goes soft.
From the Kitchen
Amber holds up against the toasted oats without taking over. Golden disappears here, Very Dark fights the yogurt. This is squarely Amber's lane.Tagged:Breakfast5-minuteSnack
