Privacy Policy

Last updated · January 2026

We're a small family farm. We collect the bare minimum we need to ship maple syrup to your door and let you know when there's a fresh run. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to get in touch if you want it deleted.

What we collect

When you place an order, we receive your name, shipping address, email address, phone number (optional), and the order details. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments and the major card networks — we do not store your full card number on our servers.

When you subscribe to the journal, we collect only your email address. When you submit the wholesale or corporate-gifting form, we collect what you choose to share with us in those fields.

Our site uses standard cookies for cart state, language, and anonymous analytics. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use your contact details to fulfill and ship your order, to send transactional updates (order confirmation, tracking, delivery), and — if you've opted in — to send the occasional note when there's a fresh sugaring run or a seasonal release.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers required to run the shop (Shopify for orders and payments, our shipping carrier, our email provider).

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you what we have on file, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@longview.farm and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

The Longview Farm shop is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email.
